Stained Glass Restoration Artists in Ontario Shut Down Operations
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Sunrise Stained Glass in London, Ont., is set to close after nearly 50 years of crafting and restoring stained glass, with a ‘for sale’ sign now outside the shop. Owner Roger Chapman, who opened the business in 1979, has been instrumental in restoring windows for numerous churches across Ontario and providing stained glass supplies and classes to hobbyists. As Chapman and his partners age, they decided to retire, though he hopes to continue crafting stained glass in his spare time. The shop’s legacy includes significant restoration projects and a rich connection to the local stained glass community.
