Vancouver Whitecaps defeat San Diego 3-1 in Western Conference final

Vancouver Whitecaps secured their first-ever MLS Cup final appearance by defeating San Diego FC 3-1 in the Western Conference final. Brian White scored two goals, while a third came from San Diego’s goalkeeper Pablo Sisniega, who was sent off for a foul. Vancouver will face Inter Miami CF, who triumphed 5-1 over New York City FC in the Eastern Conference final, on December 6 for the MLS Cup title. Both teams are making their first final appearances.
