G20 Leaders Commit to Peace Efforts in Sudan, DR Congo, Palestine, Ukraine

G20 leaders at their summit in Johannesburg pledged to pursue a “just, comprehensive, and lasting” peace in Sudan, the Democratic Republic of Congo, the Palestinian territories, and Ukraine, emphasizing the importance of the UN Charter. The declaration condemned terrorism and stressed that peace is essential for sustainability and prosperity. Additionally, the leaders expressed commitment to resolving other global conflicts. The G20, established in 1999, includes 19 countries and two regional bodies, the EU and the African Union.
