A British man, Graham Phillips, is under investigation by the Metropolitan Police’s War Crimes Team for filming pigs eating the bodies of Ukrainian soldiers, potentially violating the Geneva Convention. At 46, he could become the first Brit to face a war crimes trial since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in 2022. He has defended his actions by claiming the Ukrainian soldiers were responsible for civilian deaths. Phillips also recently conducted a controversial interview with a British prisoner of war, Aiden Aslin.
