34-Year-Old Woman Arrested for Hate Crimes on TTC Buses

The Toronto Police Service arrested 34-year-old Genevieve Reist for criminal harassment following two suspected hate-motivated incidents involving youths on TTC buses in the Bathurst Street and Sheppard Avenue West area. The first incident occurred on September 15, and the second on October 31, with the suspect making harassing comments to victims in both cases. Reist is scheduled to appear in court on December 17. The Hate Crime Unit is leading the investigation and urges anyone with information to contact them.
