Hadush Kebatu Released from Prison Due to Human Error

Convicted sex offender Hadush Gerberslasie Kebatu, who attempted to kiss a 14-year-old girl and sexually assaulted another woman, was mistakenly released from HMP Chelmsford due to a ‘human error’ after serving only one month of his one-year sentence. Following a manhunt, he was located and arrested in London, and the Justice Secretary stated he would be deported back to Ethiopia as soon as possible.
