Two Men Killed in Manchester Synagogue Attack

On Yom Kippur, October 2, 2025, a terror attack at the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation in Manchester resulted in the deaths of Adrian Daulby, 53, and Melvin Cravitz, 66. Daulby was killed while trying to prevent the attacker, Jihad Al-Shamie, from entering the synagogue, and Cravitz, serving as a security guard, bravely tried to stop him as well; both were honored as heroes by their community.
