Foreign interference watchdog to be named next month, public safety minister says

The Canadian government, led by Public Safety Minister Gary Anandasangaree, will establish a foreign interference watchdog and implement a foreign agent registry to address what he describes as “unacceptable” foreign interference and transnational repression. This initiative aims to enhance national security and protect Canadian sovereignty.
