A couple in London, Mia Forbes Pirie and Mark Simpson, reclaimed their stolen Jaguar E-Pace after feeling unsupported by police in recovering the vehicle. After the police indicated they wouldn’t investigate, the couple used an AirTag to locate the car, which was found nearby with significant damage. Forbes Pirie criticized the police for being under-resourced and for not advising them to avoid touching the vehicle, emphasizing concerns about the lack of consequences for car theft.
