Yusef Malihat described threats, demolitions, and the rapid establishment of a new settler outpost nearby, prompting the community’s decision to disperse to areas like Taybeh and Ramallah. The Palestinian Authority condemned the displacement, linking it to settler militia terrorism, as Maghayer al-Deir becomes one of the last communities facing such fate, with its 124 residents now uncertain of their return.
