Authorities have identified 31-year-old Elias Rodriguez from Chicago as the sole suspect in the shooting that killed two Israeli embassy staff members, Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Lynn Milgrim, outside the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington, D.C. Rodriguez was apprehended by on-site security after allegedly opening fire on four individuals leaving an event; he implied his guilt to police and was reported to have chanted “Free, free Palestine” while in custody. The motive remains unclear, and the Party for Socialism and Liberation has denied any current association with Rodriguez, stating he had no contact with them for over seven years.
