Australian Football League (AFL) player and coach Robert Walls has died at 74 after utilizing voluntary assisted dying laws in Victoria. A Carlton Football Club legend, Walls won three premierships as a player and one as a coach, later becoming a prominent media figure. Diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia in 2023, he passed away surrounded by family, following a two-year battle with cancer that included over 250 nights in the hospital.
