A 30-year-old woman died when a vehicle crashed into a power pole she was near in Melville, Hamilton. The incident occurred at the intersection of Ōhaupō Rd and Kahikitea Drive. Initially reported as involving two vehicles, it has been clarified that only one vehicle was involved.
