A Quebec coroner has revised his initial report into the death of Mexican boxer Jeanette Guadalupe Zacarias Zapata after a Radio-Canada investigation revealed falsified or inaccurate medical records. The new report makes 10 recommendations, including verifying previous knockouts, conducting pre-fight radiology exams, and ensuring accurate medical records before fights. The investigation found that Zapata should not have been allowed to fight in Montreal, as she had suffered a concussion in a previous bout, highlighting the need for stricter regulations in the sport.
