New England Patriots cornerback Christian Gonzalez responded to being excluded from Pro Football Focus’ top 25 players under 25 list by saying, “Let the play talk.” This snub, which also included quarterback Drake Maye, surprised many, especially after Gonzalez’s impressive 2024 season, where he recorded 59 tackles, 11 pass deflections, and two interceptions following a shoulder injury in 2023. Gonzalez, who also missed out on the Pro Bowl despite a strong second season, aims to prove critics wrong in his third year on the field.
