Arizona State coach escorted off range for wearing shorts at Augusta National: 'Pants tomorrow'

Arizona State coach Matt Thurmond left his phone behind at the Masters Tournament, where he was watching his player Josele Ballester, the reigning U.S. Amateur champion. Thurmond was escorted off the range for wearing shorts, a violation of Augusta National’s no-shorts policy for players and coaches, but he took responsibility and tweeted about the incident. This rule has been enforced before, as seen with Masters participant Talor Gooch three years ago, who was quickly provided with rain pants after wearing shorts on the course.
