A man was sentenced to death by a Kolkata court for abducting, raping, and murdering a 7-year-old girl, whose body was found in a sack. The court deemed the crime as “rarest of rare” and quoted Adam Smith in its sentencing. The man had lured the girl with chocolate before committing the heinous act.
