Man charged after shooting victim who answered door

A man has been charged following a shooting incident in South Auckland, where he allegedly shot a victim after knocking on their door. Police responded to the Marumaru Lane home around 8:45 PM last Wednesday. The victim was hospitalized with serious injuries but is fortunate not to have life-threatening wounds, according to Detective Inspector Shaun Vickers.
