A Turkish official announced efforts to secure safe passage for approximately 200 civilians trapped in Gaza tunnels, following the successful return of Israeli soldier Hadar Goldin’s remains after 11 years. The official highlighted this achievement as evidence of Hamas’s commitment to the ceasefire. Meanwhile, Hamas in Rafah declared it would not surrender and urged mediators to resolve the ongoing crisis threatening the month-long ceasefire. Turkey was a signatory of the recent ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas, supported by US President Donald Trump.
