John C. Reilly Cast in Apple Original Thriller SPONSOR

Academy Award nominee John C. Reilly has joined the cast of Sponsor, a psychological thriller from Apple Original Films, co-written by and starring Jason Segel. Reilly plays Jerry, the sponsor of Segel’s character, Peter, who faces a choice between prison and a recovery program after a drunken driving accident. The film, produced by Platinum Dunes, will shoot in California. Reilly is also set to appear in How to Rob a Bank and A Prayer for the Dying.
