The Freedom Flotilla Coalition reported losing contact with the aid ship Madleen after Israeli forces boarded the vessel in international waters while it was en route to Gaza, detaining those aboard. The coalition condemned the Israeli action as a “kidnapping,” and Turkiye called it a violation of international law, highlighting the presence of Turkish citizens and activist Greta Thunberg on board.
