'Apocalyptic' cluster bomb attack stuns east Ukraine locals

Residents of Dobropillia in eastern Ukraine, accustomed to Russian attacks since February 2022, experienced a deadly cluster munition assault on Friday. The barrage targeted the town center, killing 11 people, including six children, and injuring 40 others. Survivors described the scene as “apocalyptic” with buildings destroyed and bodies scattered, leaving residents traumatized and in shock.
