Attackers launched two suicide bombings at a military base in northwestern Pakistan, killing at least nine people and injuring 25. A group affiliated with the Pakistani Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack in Bannu, with the victims including children. The blasts occurred during Ramadan, with Jaish Al-Fursan stating that the explosions were caused by explosive-laden vehicles, marking the third militant assault in Pakistan since the start of the holy month.
