Last month, a $2 billion arms sale package to Taiwan was announced, including an advanced air defense missile system. Taiwan President Lai Ching-te embarks on a Pacific trip, starting with a stopover in Hawaii before visiting Marshall Islands, Tuvalu, and Palau, countries with diplomatic ties to Taipei.

NIA raids homes of LeT, JeM 'overground workers' in Jammu
National Investigation Agency teams conducted extensive searches at the homes of alleged overground workers linked with banned organizations in Jammu, including Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed offshoots. The raids were carried out at 12 locations following information about militants infiltrating Indian territory, connected to past attacks on security forces.
