An international United Nations staffer was killed and five others were wounded in a strike on a U.N. guesthouse in the Gaza Strip, carried out by an unknown source. The U.N. Office for Project Services confirmed that the strike was not accidental and had previously hit near the compound, prompting contact with the Israeli military. Despite Israeli military denial of targeting the U.N. compound, the staffer’s death occurred during a series of strikes on the facility.
