North Korea’s Foreign Minister Choe Son Hui stated in talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov that North Korea will support Russia until victory in the Ukraine war, emphasizing the strong military comradeship between the two nations led by Kim Jong Un and Vladimir Putin. Lavrov highlighted the close military ties between the countries, without addressing reports of North Korean troops in Russia. U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken mentioned 8,000 North Korean troops in Russia, but Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov did not comment on the matter.
