Cold case Detective Clark Schwartzkopf sought DNA from Bryan Patrick Miller, a person of interest in the canal murders of Angela Brosso and Melanie Bernas, during a meeting at a Chili’s in 2015. Despite initial skepticism, DNA evidence later linked Miller to the crimes, leading to his conviction and death penalty in June 2023.
