A foreign landowner has claimed he lost millions due to a collapsed north Auckland housing project, alleging conspiracy from a development partner and lenders. However, Justice Andrew Becroft ruled against him, attributing the losses to the landowner’s own actions, while the project, intended to deliver over 1200 homes, failed to generate sales and left him with $20 million in debt.
