Rees admitted to getting ‘too close’ to Letby and continued to contact her, expressing pride and support, even after Letby’s arrest. Letby murdered seven babies and attempted to murder seven more, and it was revealed that potentially life-threatening incidents occurred on almost a third of the shifts Letby worked at another hospital.
