Yinson Production JV bags floater extension in Vietnam

Yinson Production, a Singapore-based floater owner and operator, has secured a bareboat charter extension with PetroVietnam for the FPSO PTSC Lam Son until June 2026, with an additional six-month option. The joint venture between Yinson Production and PetroVietnam Technical Services Corporation will see Yinson receive $17.7m of the $36.2m deal for the vessel operating offshore Vietnam’s Block 1-2/97. Yinson Production’s fleet includes 10 FPSOs with an orderbook valued at approximately $22bn until 2048.
