Mum allegedly sexually assaulted while walking 3-year-old to Pakuranga daycare, calls for caution

A mother was allegedly sexually assaulted while walking her preschooler to daycare in East Auckland.

Multiple people intervened, allowing the mother to escape and seek help.

Police are speaking to a person of interest and investigating the incident on Reeves Rd.

A mother reported being sexually assaulted while walking her 3-year-old to daycare on Reeves Rd in East Auckland at around 9:55 am. The woman, wishing to remain anonymous, described being approached by a man who grabbed and touched her. Thankfully, bystanders intervened, enabling her to escape and seek assistance as the police continue their investigation into the incident.
