Yemen’s Iran-backed Huthi rebels have resumed attacks on Red Sea shipping, claiming responsibility for the sinking of the Liberian-flagged merchant vessel Eternity C, which left three dead and 19 missing. The attacks, aimed at vessels linked to Israel in support of Palestinians, threaten a recent ceasefire and have prompted shipping firms to avoid the Red Sea route, vital for global trade.
