A Waikato tradesman, Jason Mark Lambert, failed to complete any work for which he received deposits from 12 victims, amounting to approximately $21,000. Although the victims are set to be reimbursed, the process may take several years and offers little consolation to one victim still repaying a loan for Lambert’s services. Lambert was sentenced in the Hamilton District Court on 13 charges, admitting to eight and being found guilty on five others.
