Changes to KiwiSaver Withdrawal Rules for Farmers, Diplomats, and Soldiers

Farmers who have never owned a home will soon be allowed to use their KiwiSaver savings to purchase farmland for residential purposes. Additionally, individuals seeking to buy their first home, but currently living in employer-provided accommodation, will also gain access to their KiwiSaver accounts. The government plans to introduce a bill to amend KiwiSaver rules in Parliament mid-year, with expectations for it to pass before the November general election.
