An ex-Shortland Street actor, William Alexander, and his partner Ava are among 90 people aboard The Conscience, a vessel in the Freedom Flotilla approaching Gaza that has reportedly been intercepted by Israeli military forces in the Mediterranean Sea. Chlöe Swarbrick, co-leader of the Green Party, shared an Instagram reel featuring Alexander, who described seeing an Israeli military plane circling above the flotilla.
