During her trial for the double murder of her two young children, Hankyung “Jasmine” Lee exhibited a significant increase in personal spending on beauty treatments just before the crimes in June 2018, including $900 at a hair salon and $188 at a laser treatment center. She confessed to killing her daughter Yuna Jo, 8, and son Minu Jo, 6, and concealing their remains in suitcases after their father’s death from cancer.
