Tauranga City Council cocktail party: Ombudsman recommends invite list be publicly released

The Chief Ombudsman ruled that Tauranga City Council’s reasons for withholding the names of invitees and sponsors for a $40,000 private cocktail party did not justify the lack of public interest.
