West Virginia Governor Patrick Morrisey reported that injured National Guardsman Andrew Wolfe is beginning to show signs of recovery, with his head wound healing and family expressing optimism about his progress. A prayer vigil was held in his honor, alongside a moment of silence for fellow Guardsman Sarah Beckstrom, who was killed in the shooting. Attorney General Pam Bondi described Wolfe as a “miracle” for his ability to open both eyes. The suspected shooter, Rahmanullah Lakanwal, faces multiple charges, including first-degree murder.
