Filipino women jailed for submitting forged university certificates to MOM for employment passes

Two Filipino women, Conol Almira Joy Torres and Torres Alyssa Riva Fernan, were jailed for using forged university certificates to obtain employment passes in Singapore. Almira received six weeks while Alyssa was sentenced to four weeks; both worked at CL Enterprise from November 2020 to February 2022, earning significantly less than their declared salaries, leading to an investigation by the Ministry of Manpower.
