Woman Strangled by Husband on Thai Holiday

David Turner, 61, admitted to violently attacking his wife during a family holiday at the Le Meridien Khao Lak Resort in Thailand on July 4, 2024, causing her actual bodily harm. While intoxicated, he repeatedly strangled, kicked, and punched her, resulting in her blacking out, and he even threatened her with a knife. Despite the severity of the assault, Turner avoided jail and was arrested upon returning to the UK. The victim described the aftermath as a “living nightmare” that severely impacted her mental health and well-being.
