Woman killed son’s dog with a sword

Alicia Darcy was sentenced to 18 months in prison for fatally stabbing her son’s dog with a samurai sword while it slept on a sofa in Sandbach, Cheshire. After the incident on October 12, she called the police while intoxicated, and they found the dog suffering with the sword embedded in its body; she has since been banned from owning animals.
