A woman gave birth in the aftermath of twin earthquakes that struck Venezuela on Wednesday, resulting in significant destruction and loss of life. The earthquakes, measuring 7.2 and 7.5 in magnitude, have left at least 920 people dead and over 3,360 injured, with more than 50,000 reported missing. Amid the chaos, a local doctor, María Fernanda Terán, acted as an impromptu midwife, helping to deliver a baby boy next to a collapsed building in La Guairá, the worst-hit area. Footage of the event shows Terán assisting the mother while bystanders provided support. Fortunately, both the mother and newborn are reported to be in good health.
