More than four years ago, Staci Green’s mother was killed in a car crash in Georgia. The other driver in the crash, Nikia Cherry, pled guilty to vehicular homicide. Since then, Green and Cherry have formed a close and unlikely friendship. Steve Hartman has their story in “On the Road.”
