As the 2025 FIBA Women’s EuroBasket tournament approaches, several WNBA players, including Leonie Fiebich and Janelle Salaün, are temporarily leaving their teams to represent their countries. The tournament, featuring 16 European nations, will serve as a qualifier for the 2026 FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup, with games hosted in Greece, Italy, Czechia, and Germany, concluding on June 29th.
