Winter storm systems bring heavy snow and arctic temperatures to northern U.S.

Two more storm systems are set to impact the northern United States this week, with the first starting in the Plains on Monday, bringing snow to the north and heavy rain to the south. The second storm will follow on Wednesday, bringing more rain and snow to the Plains and Midwest before moving into the Northeast. Arctic air will also bring frigid temperatures to the region, with some areas experiencing record lows.
