Keir Starmer Announces Cheaper Formula Prices

Keir Starmer has announced plans to reduce the cost of infant formula, responding to the escalating prices that have forced some parents to dilute formula or resort to theft. During Prime Minister’s Questions, he assured that measures will be implemented to help families access more affordable formula. This initiative aligns with Metro’s Formula for Change campaign, which advocates for a review of infant formula legislation and has garnered nearly 109,000 petition signatures. The campaign, launched with charity Feed, aims to allow families to use loyalty points and gift cards for formula purchases.
