Wills and Kate Keep Prince George’s School Choice Private

The Prince and Princess of Wales are deliberating on which secondary school to send their eldest son, Prince George, to for September 2026, with Marlborough College and Eton College as the two main contenders. The couple has reportedly been divided on the decision for years, reflecting their desire to balance royal duties with a normal upbringing for George. While royal experts speculate Eton may be the likely choice, Kate is concerned about its traditionalism conflicting with their modernization efforts. George has visited both schools, but the announcement may come closer to the start of the school year to minimize media scrutiny.
