Concerns arise over AI’s propensity for errors and misinformation, which could lead to flawed laws and potential safety risks. However, DOT’s top lawyer, Gregory Zerzan, emphasizes that the goal is to expedite the rule-making process, enabling drafts to be completed in under 30 minutes. The preferred AI tool for this task is Google Gemini.
