Fire authorities in Riverside County have issued evacuation warnings for an 85-acre wildfire near Canyon Crest Drive, which was reported Saturday evening and remains under investigation by the California Department of Forestry & Fire Protection. The evacuation area specified is north of the 60 Freeway, east of County Village Road, south of the Riverside/San Bernardino County line, and west of Sierra Ave. The fire, which is zero percent contained as of 9 p.m., prompted the opening of a care and reception center at Jurupa Valley High School in Jurupa Valley.
