Toho has released the trailer for Blue Lock, a live-action adaptation of the popular anime and manga about soccer. The film centers on Japan’s national team struggling with a lack of scorers, leading to the creation of a secret project that pits 300 high school strikers against one another in a ruthless training facility. Directed by Yûsuke Taki, Blue Lock is set to hit Japanese theaters on August 7, 2026.
